The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia continues to grow from year to year. Referring to the e-Conomy SEA 2024 report processed by Google Indonesia, it is estimated that the e-commerce business will be the largest contributor to Indonesia's digital economy, with an estimate reaching US$ 65 billion (around Rp1,026.1 trillion) in 2024.
This increasingly positive growth has also encouraged Agung Intiland as a developer of an integrated industrial and warehousing area in North Jakarta to make new innovations in line with market developments and trends. Located close to Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK 2) and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, and supported by infrastructure and toll road plans, Laksana Business Park - the developer's first and largest project - is the best choice for developing e-commerce and other businesses.
"The latest trend shows that industry players increasingly have many preferences in targeting warehouse units. The most needed is the multifunctional concept to improve operational efficiency. Since its establishment in 2015, we have developed commercial projects such as warehouses that not only function as storage places, but also as part of an integrated business ecosystem," explained Agung Intiland's President Director, Paberd Leonard Hutagaol.
Seeing the increasingly massive needs, Laksana Business Park launched the latest warehouse cluster, namely Luxima Bizhub with the 4 in 1 Warehouse concept. Where the multifunctional space concept makes living, working, and selling possible under the same roof. Luxima Bizhub aims to increase efficiency in terms of time and costs, because it can reduce the need to move between the office and home. Of course, it is ideal for start-up and medium-sized entrepreneurs, considering the price is very affordable starting at IDR 1.9 billion.
Agung Intiland has an area of 1,200 hectares, making Laksana Business Park the largest industrial and warehousing area on the north side of Tangerang Regency and the west side of Jakarta. This industrial area has also obtained an Industrial Area Risk Business Permit and has been registered with the Ministry of Industry, so it is qualified to accommodate heavy industry.
"In this 1,200 hectare area, we present several development projects including Laksana Business Park 1 whose industrial lots have been 100% sold out, and industrial lots in Laksana Business Park 2 which have also been 90% sold out since being launched in early 2022," Paberd added.
Sustainability Commitment
Agung Intiland was established in 2015, and since then the developer has always adhered to a development strategy that is in line with the National Development Master Plan. This step was taken as a reflection of the company's optimism in realizing its vision as a developer of sustainable industrial and property areas in Indonesia.
"With a very strategic location, in the future Agung Intiland will also build residential, commercial, educational, health, and other supporting facilities that will accommodate all activities in one area. So that later this will become an independent city with a one-stop living concept. We are very optimistic that the products we offer to consumers will provide a positive impact and benefit," said Paberd.
Not only trying to present optimal economic value for stakeholders, Paberd said that his party also contributes to environmental preservation and social responsibility. "As part of the grand vision to build a more advanced and highly competitive Indonesia, we also support the achievement of the national economic growth target of 5.2% in 2025 through sustainable innovation and inclusive business strategies," he concluded.
