THE growth of e-commerce in Indonesia continues to soar. Based on the e-Conomy SEA 2024 report by Google Indonesia, this sector is projected to become the backbone of the country's digital economy with a value of US$65 billion or around Rp1,026 trillion in 2024.
Responding to this trend, Agung Intiland, a developer of an integrated industrial and warehousing area in North Jakarta, initiated innovation based on the growing market needs.
Strategically located near Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK 2) and Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and supported by toll access and future infrastructure, Laksana Business Park is present as Agung Intiland's flagship project designed to support the growth of e-commerce businesses and other business sectors.
"The demand for warehouses is now not only about storage capacity, but also multifunctional functions that support operational efficiency. Since its establishment in 2015, we have developed the concept of a warehouse as part of an integrated business ecosystem," said Agung Intiland's President Director, Paberd Leonard Hutagaol, Sunday (13/4).
Carrying the 4 in 1 Warehouse concept, the latest Luxima Bizhub cluster allows business actors to live, work, and sell in the same location. This concept offers high efficiency in terms of time and cost—ideal for start-up to medium-sized business actors. The units are marketed starting at IDR 1.9 billion.
With a development area of 1,200 hectares, Agung Intiland makes Laksana Business Park the largest industrial and warehousing area in the north of Tangerang Regency and west of Jakarta. This area has obtained a Risk Business Permit and is registered with the Ministry of Industry, ready to support large-scale industrial activities.
"Laksana Business Park 1 has been 100% sold, and Laksana Business Park 2 has been 90% absorbed since its launch in early 2022," added Paberd.
Since its inception, Agung Intiland has consistently carried out a sustainable development strategy that is in line with the National Development Master Plan. This is in line with the company's long-term vision as a developer of industrial areas and properties with a future outlook.
"With a very strategic location, in the future we will build residential, commercial, educational, and health facilities in one integrated area, making this area an independent city based on one-stop living," explained Paberd.
Not only creating economic value, Agung Intiland also shows its commitment to environmental preservation and social responsibility.
"We believe that inclusive and sustainable development is the key to a more competitive Indonesia. Through relevant innovation and strategies, we are helping to drive the national economic growth target of 5.2% in 2025," he concluded.
